Phoenix Waveform Pain / Therapy Quick Start
1) Perform routine medical history, orthopedic and neurological exams by a trained and licensed health-care provider.
2) Review contraindications to electric muscle stimulation.
3) Perform the “HUNT” Technique. Use “HUNT” program (500 contraction/second). Use sponge leads. Intensity 15. If you do not locate hot spots at this intensity increase the intensity.
4) Located 1-4 “Hot Spots” (tender or painful spots and not just muscle contraction.) Mark the hot spots with a marker. Place the sticky electrodes over the hot spots. Use the Phoenix “HUNT” program (500 contractions/sec) Use channels 1 and 3.
5) Therapy (Hunting for “Hot Spots”)
– Set the machine to “first sensation” (first feel the tingling) and I do exercises to work for that muscle group. Movements that cause the discomfort (10 reps – 2-4 sets) If the intensity level decreases increase the intensity to a 5/10 discomfort (as perceived by the patient) and repeat the same exercises and reps.
– If the intensity level decreases increase the intensity to a 7/10 discomfort (as perceived by the patient) and repeat the same exercises and reps.
– Reverse the polarity on the machine (unplug the leads and switch the POS and NEG) and repeat above.
6) Therapy at the site of the pain
-Now place the sticky electrode at the site of the injury or pain. Use the placement pad pictures for reference. Use the “HUNT” (500 contractions per second) program. Channels 1 and 3
-Run program 7 min at intensity level perceived by patient 5-7/10. Do not have to go really strong. After 7 min reverse polarity for another 7 min
Info for the client:
Due to the depth and strong contractions (500 per second) when they leave they may feel like the pads are still attached. Depending on how strong the intensity was, in a day or two, they may experience “post-exercise muscle soreness” as if they had done a heavy workout. This is normal and the area will release after that.
Essential Amino Acids (the perfect amino) 5 grams with 5 grams creatine (2.5grams two times a day) orally. Then topical Mg oil over the injury and muscles.

Injury current is considered to promote the recovery of damaged cells and tissues in the living body. Stimulation by this current is thought to generate ATP and synthesize protein for the restoration of damaged tissue. Therefore, it can be affirmed that artificially generated microcurrent would complement and further promote the natural functions of the injury current.
Phases and duration of Mens therapy MENS therapy is ordinarily executed in the following two phases. Phase 1 is mainly intended to reduce pain, while phase 2 is designed to solve the trauma and to repair the damaged tissue.
Energetic muscle restoration
Program effects:
This program offers a rapid APT integration at a muscular level that favors recovery in a short time.
Indications for use:
Ideal for all sports people, it can be used at the end of the training sessions, in order to obtain a rapid and optimal muscle recovery.
Time and intensity
Time: two phases 10’ + 10’
